I did it!
I cut it all off, and I'm so glad I did! I was so scared it would look terrible, but I really like it. It's a good change for spring.

Day 45- Heat

Here in the lovely state of North Carolina, we don't really have a 'spring.' One week it's in the low 40's, and the next it's 85 degrees outside. From winter to summer in a matter of days. Though there are those occasional couple of days where it truly feels like April, they're very rare.

Today it was 83 degrees out. My school's air conditioning doesn't get turned on till April 25th, so we spent today roasting in our dress code-appropriate attire.

Oh how I can't wait for spring break.

Day 41

Blurry picture. Sadly this is the best shot I managed to get on this cold, rainy day. Luckily all of next week will be sunny, though. I can't wait!

So I bought this weird kimono/vest type-thing around this time last year, and this is actually the first time I've ever worn it. Strange, right? I could never figure out what to pair it with. But today I couldn't figure out what to add to this basic-tank-and-jeans look, so I threw it on. I actually think it worked out quite well.

Hey guys! Early Thursday morning I departed for Charleston, and I just returned this afternoon. We went to celebrate my little brother's 13th birthday. I didn't bring my laptop on the trip, so I haven't been able to post. Here's what I wore Thursday through Saturday, but my camera died Saturday night so I wasn't able to photograph Sunday or today's ensembles. Remember that fashion show I mentioned I did last Saturday? Well that had it again today, for the last time, thankfully. It was fun though. Anyways, here's what I wore. I kept it basic since it's best not to dress up when working backstage.

 

 

 

Below is a picture of the dress I created for the show modeled by the lovely Camille Bradley. It's made completely out of Target bags! We were supposed to pick an era and create a dress that would've fit in that time period. Sorry the picture is kind of crummy, the lighting was dreadful. I hope you like it :)

I absolutely love Urban's nail polish. It's always been my favorite place to buy polish because it lasts longer and goes on really easily. As you can see I've been building up my collection lately. Bonsoir, sorry I didn't get to post this yesterday. I had to go to a Young the Giant (I love them so much they were so good) concert right after class got out and I didn't get home till 1 AM. However, I'll try to be on time with my posts from here on out. But anyways, here's what I wore to the concert. 

I love this zodiac constellation necklace I got last week. I'm an Aries, so I bought the one that corresponded with my sign. It looks good with just about everything.
